To Allow the use of the Database (Folio Views 2.1), the calling communication software should be in Doorway emulation mode. This emulation is provided, to our knowledge, by two commercially available softwares: Procomm Plus and Qmodem.

If none of the previous packages is available, the following shareware programs can be used. They have been tried in a DOS environment or in a DOS window under Windows 3.1x and Windows 95. They require the use of a physical com port (The modem has to be attached to the computer).
